Let us help you find the right LED driver!
Sometimes it can very difficult to find the right LED driver for powering your LED light fittings.
Many of our customers bring in LED light fittings in from overseas and need a LED driver with Australian approvals. In most cases the supplier of the LED light fittings doesn’t have an Australian approved LED driver and this is where we come in.
Identifying the right LED driver isn’t too difficult if the supplier of the LED light fitting can give you the details on what type of LED driver is required.
For example;
- Constant current or constant voltage?
- What is the required voltage/current to power the LED light fitting?
- What power output is required?
If you are unable to get this information all is not lost.
There are a couple of ways we can help you.
If you can take a photo of the label on the existing LED driver and email it to us, we can usually identify its electrical output and offer a suitable alternative.
If you don't have the specifications of the existing LED driver, Power Supplies Australia can test your LED light fitting in our labs and advise you which MEAN WELL LED driver is most suited to your LED light fitting.
We did this recently for a customer with a LED light panel. After running some tests we found that he needed a 60 Watt, 24 VDC constant current LED driver. We were able to offer 4 different LED drivers for this particular customer to choose from. All of which were in stock!
