Inverters that Accept a Negative Voltage Input

Some applications require an inverter that can accept a negative (–v) voltage input.

For example, we were recently contacted by a customer who needed an inverter that could accept a –48V input. This was for a telecommunications application and the power output requirement was less than 500 WATTS.

All MEAN WELL’s true sine wave inverters are fully isolated, so can accept a negative input.

We suggested the customer consider the MEAN WELL NTS-240-248AU true sine wave inverter.

Our range of MEAN WELL inverters include models as large as 3000 WATTS.
